Internships, freelance projects, and even strong class projects count. Describe what you built or contributed to, not just where you worked. Numbers help — even small ones.

Skip the objective statement. A two-line summary that says what you can do and what kind of role you want is more useful than "seeking an opportunity to grow."

Tailor your skills section to each job posting. If the listing mentions Python and SQL, those should be near the top — not buried after soft skills.
